From getting all wrapped up, to regretting you ever got a driver's license, these are 22 BEST Bad Parking Revenges Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 15 - Reserved… For people just like this – who obviously need the extra help, because it’s rather challenging to get into those parking spaces specifically designed for a motor car. There are a number of these beautifully executed revenge park photos circulating the net, makes me want to leave chalk in my car from now onwards. 14 - All wrapped up… Have you ever had a piece of luggage shrink wrapped like this when travelling? It’s surprisingly tricky to cut open, so you can just imagine the hard time this driver had to free his vehicle from all this plastic! 13 - Say it with peanut butter… Less Expensive than getting it towed for sure, but probably will take just as much time to get rid of all the peanut butter, than it would to go and collect your car from the towing company! This person will definitely be more careful next time! 12 - Rules are there for a reason… If you’ve ever been tempted to park close to a fire hydrant, let this put you off for the rest of your life. No problem to the firefighters, they just shattered the windows to get the water pipe to go where it needed to go. 11 - One Man’s Trash… Is another man’s trash now. Parking in front of council bins is really not a very bright idea. This guy is lucky his only punishment was a little rubbish dumped on his car, and not the contents of all of three of those bins combined. 10 - It’s a wrap… You have to believe that whomever did this had finally just had enough. I can’t imagine someone would go to such an extreme from just being parked in once, but totally plausible if it’s happened again and again. This person was waiting with many rolls of tin foil to execute this so perfectly. 9 - Not so subtle… This note is not nearly as subtle as some of our previous notes shown and quite a slap in the face. It would appear that parking errors are almost unforgivable… Apparently around 20% of parking accidents occur in parking lots, makes you wonder how many are caused by people parking badly. 8 - Got you surrounded… I’m not sure what this poor driver’s transgression was, but whatever it was – must have been severe to cause this awful situation. I truly would love to know how this was even made possible! How did they manage to link every trolley to form this circle, and how is this chap going to get out? 7 - Don’t try this at home… This person has not just taken up 2 parking bays, which is bad enough, but they’ve been totally cheeky and hogged 4 parking spaces! I’m sure there are other words which also aptly describe this inconsiderate driver. 6 - Going nowhere slowly… That’s what happens when you decide to purposefully break the rules, you get stuck just like this guy. He thought it would be a great idea to park in a spot very clearly demarcated for motorbikes. It’s a shame it will be quite easy to move the bike, or worse – knock it over. 5 - Passive aggressive… Spiderman to the rescue of all fellow motorists, and ensuring that everyone abides by the universal laws of the roads. Like using one parking spot instead of two and by using only one spot – being a huge help to all of humanity! Thanks Spiderman. 4 - It’s a celebration… But not the kind you were hoping for. Looks like these guys celebrated the disastrous effort this driver had at trying to park his car into one space. They obviously felt the driver needed all the encouragement he could get after failing miserably. 3 - It’s a space issue… Have you ever parked in an empty lot, only to come out again to find someone has parked right next to you – and you can’t understand why when there are a hundred other spaces? I feel sort of sorry for this driver, who obviously didn’t think it would be a problem – but I guess it offended several other motorists. 2 - Hope you’re not in a hurry… Because you’ll not be going anywhere soon! By the looks of things, when people do their drivers exam, they should have a completely separate course on driver etiquette, which needs to be passed before the actual driving can begin. 1 - Bad driver on board… Instead of a baby on board sticker on this car, this driver needs a bad driver on board sign. Clearly a bit fed up, this motorist got a lesson he won’t forget in a hurry! Have you ever dispensed some bad parking revenge? If so, tell us about it in the comments below. Where do you live? Maybe in a nice, quaint little house with a white picket fence, or maybe in a high rise apartment in a big city. Either way, we can guarantee you your house is nothing like some of these on this list. And if it is, invite us over for a dinner and drinks! Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr . Just a Vision Upon first glance, this easily appears to be a superhero or evil villain's’ secret lair. This house hasn’t been built yet- it’s the photoshopped architectural genius image of Visualizing Architecture.com’s Alex Hogrefe. He explains how he crafted the design through a series of nine steps. One of the most important aspects of getting the image to look so real was making sure the dark atmosphere had just the right amount of fog. He says of the task, “The key here is to be subtle. It’s easy to overdo it with the fog and clouds, but with this image, I just wanted to give the hint of some fog rolling in from the ocean”. He’s received much praise and enthusiasm in the comments section, with remarks from users like “Bra- freaking- vo!” and “The photoshop or composition skills are very good. You have a good eye. No doubt about that!” 2.Modscape Marvel As much as we all love strange architecture and surprisingly giant mini coopers, the house depicted in this image might be just a pipe dream.Apart from not being able to afford it, we really can't be sure it's real at all. After all, there’s no way an eroding cliff could safely support a five story, all glass building. A more practical way of building is like this one, with strong support and a circular cement shape.Modcape.com virtually designed this building and posted it on their blog, and we most certainly hope that it gets made. But only if it’s safe! Thanks for staying until the end, we have one more daring home to show you! But first, here are just a few comments. We love our commenters, so keep them coming! 1.Those Who Live In Glass Houses We think this “Lake House”, designed by architect Mark Dziewulski is daring because it is build onto a cliff and it’s south side is completely covered in glass. As pictured here, you can see stunning windows that reach all the way from the top to the bottom of the home, and we can’t imagine how much money is spent on Windex here. All of the exposed rooms make it look like a real life doll house. The eight thousand six hundred and ninety four square foot five story home is nestled right into the nature of Incline Village in Crystal Bay, Nevada. Homeowners and guests can enjoy gorgeous views of Nevada’s Lake Tahoe from literally every room in the house. Well, except the bathroom. As of 2014,the house was still unowned, but available for a measly forty three million dollars. Sheesh.

When we talk about a white elephant, that can refer to an actual animal. But more often the term White Elephant refers to a something that costs more to maintain that it’s probably worth. That’s the definition we’re using for this list … which contains 13 of the biggest construction projects that wasted massive amounts of time and money … Or if you prefer, 13 of the biggest white elephants in the world! To an extent, this failed project was a victim of bad timing. It was conceived in the 1990s, when Spain’s economy was more robust. Money for the first private international airport in the country was easier to come by. But by the time the airport opened in 2008, the Spanish economy had essentially halted. By the time it was shut down in 2012, the airport did not have one single flight. After the $1.2 billion dollar airport was put up for auction,it received a bid of less than $12,000 from a Chinese investment firm. That offer was rejected as too low. In 2016, a local consortium paid out $62 million dollars for Don Quixote Airport. Hopefully that included some windmills to tilt at. #8 Russky Bridge (Russia) Did you know the world’s longest cable-stayed bridge is located in Vladivostok, Russia? That’s as defined by the length of its main span. Extending some 3,622 feet between suspension towers, the bridge was originally constructed for the 2012 Asia Pacific Economic Conference. Then-President of Russia Vladimir Putin approved the project at a cost exceeding $1 billion dollars. It was seen as a way to connect Vladivostok with Russky Island, where the conference was being held. The problem was that after the conference was over, so was a lot of the bridge’s relevance. It was designed to handle 50,000 vehicles each day … but Russky Island only has 5,000 residents, which has led to a severe under usage. #7 Sochi, Russia (SO-chee) No sooner than the 2014 Winter Olympics were awarded to Sochi, than the small town on Russia’s Black Sea attracted hordes of contractors and construction workers. Between them, those workers would essentially create a whole new Sochi. Their efforts resulted in the construction of nearly 50 new hotels … along with 13 train stations either new or renovated, six medical centers, five new schools, and 200 miles of new roads (which included 55 new bridges and 22 new tunnels). The bill for all that building was an estimated $51 billion dollars, the highest cost ever for hosting an Olympics Games Contrast that price tag with the cost of the larger-scale Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, which cost around $13 billion. The spike in tourism didn’t last after the Winter Olympics ended … and the gleaming white sports palaces have essentially stayed empty and silent ever since. One centerpiece building, the Bolshoy Ice Palace cost $300 million dollars …. And requires a daily budget of more than $13,000 dollars to maintain it.

8. Narita, Japan Farmers
In Narita, Japan, a collection of farmers took umbrage to the fact that their lands happened to coincide with the exact place that the government wanted to construct an airport. Tempers flared and tensions reached an all-time high, resulting in the farmer’s attacking workers, ultimately resulting in several deaths. To this day, an uneasy truce exists around the airport.
7. Guangzhou, China Apartments
Sometimes, though rarely, the indomitable will of those who refuse to sell actually overcomes the wheel of progress. This building in Guangzhou exasperated the construction company with their stubbornness so much that the highway was simply constructed around the building. Though the view is doubtless marred from how it used to be, at least the residents of this building can say they still have their home.
6. Speighalter’s Jewelry Store
Though many of the world’s most famous home holdouts reside in China, occasionally even cheery old England will find a stalwart defender of property. Speighalter’s Jewelry Store in London has refused to sell its prime location for over 100 years and is now surrounded on all sides by the Wickham’s Department Store.
5. A Chinese Farmer
Another day, another major Chinese highway planned to go right through someone’s farmland. Ye Tan and his wife, however, had other plans. They eventually held out and the road was constructed around their home in one of the few examples of a home holdout going well for those who live within. Today the road circles around their meager farm and the couple have a grim satisfaction from their accomplishment.
4. Chongqing, China
Sometimes the owners of homes on prime property are less concerned about their house and more concerned with their wallet, such as this home in Chongqing. The owner, Yang Wu, had no problem selling his home – but he wanted more money! In the end, he only received a modest sum and the house was ultimately demolished.
3. Yichang, China
In a brazen attempt to get a Chinese man to move out of his home, which sits on prime real estate in Yichang, a construction company built up the land around his home, effectively making his house resided in a hole in the ground. The water and electricity was eventually cut off to his home and he temporarily moved away. His resilience, however, proved strong and he moved back in shortly after.
2. The “Nail Grave”
Sometimes, the property in question doesn’t even have a house built on it, like this plot of land in Japan. Instead, the owner of the land has family buried here, and felt that the selling of the land would be a desecration to their memory. This plot was dubbed the “nail grave.”
1. Yonjia Apartment Building
In 2015, an apartment building in Yonjia, China refused to sell out to a company that hoped to build a road right through their home. The resilient property owners were steadfast, however, and the city spent $15 million dollars to construct a four-lane road around their building. Way to stick it to the man!
