5 Most DANGEROUS Tourist Destinations In The World!

5 Most DANGEROUS Tourist Destinations In The World! Description: Under normal circumstances, tourist destinations are supposed to be attractive destinations that provide a relaxing atmosphere and nurturing environment. This is what attracts tourists in the first place. But among all destinations, there are some that are known to be quite dangerous to visit. With this being said, prepare, because here are the 5 Most DANGEROUS Tourist Destinations In The World! You dont want to miss this. Lets begin! 1. Death Road The ‘Death Road’ is a road that stretches more than 69 kilometers and is found in the Yungas region in Bolivia. Researchers have termed it as one of the world’s most dangerous roads. There are several risks that are associated with this road. The first is the fact that the ground on which the road is built is unstable and not firm. This makes the road susceptible to mudslides which also possess great risks to motorists. Another risk is the fact that the road has no side rails that are supposed to prevent vehicles from rolling over the descent that goes more than 600 meters. Statistically, over 200 people fall victim of the roads unfriendliness and tourists are mostly advised to avoid it. 2. El Caminito Del Rey El Caminito Del Rey is one of the most dangerous walkways in the world. It is named so because Spain’s King Alfonso once walked on it. It is only about a meter in width but is linked between two cliffs that are about 200 meters apart and 100 meters in depth. However, over the years the walkway has been neglected and is currently in a sorry state to say the least. The path is currently closed to the public but people steal chances to go and have a hike on the path. There have been over 4 deaths recorded since the path was neglected and this could probably explain why it was closed to the public. Even though it is closed to the public, it is still so popular that money is being pumped into repairs in order to ensure it is reopened. 3. Mount Hua Shan You want to go hike in the most dangerous place in the world? Then welcome to Mt Hua Shan. This is probably one of the most dangerous hiking places in the world. When you visit this place, it will not take you a minute to understand why it is dangerous. The wooden planks that have been aligned along the mountain could easily fall off anytime one steps on it inappropriately. When the planks fall off, the only option hikers are left with is to step on the foothold, otherwise, you have to let go. It is estimated that close to 100 people lose their lives on this mountain annually. So next time you plan to hike on this mountain, take note of the statistics. https://blindside.me/ 4. Running of the Bulls This is an event that happens every year in Spain. In this event, six bulls are released onto the streets and they are left to run freely for about 825 meters. The events attracts in excess of 20000 people each year. Statistically, about 100 people get injured on annual basis while over 15 deaths have been recorded since its inception. . While they are at it, people might either be considered to be brave or just completely foolish by running on this event. How would you categorize these people? Let us know in the comments below! 5. Trolltunga The Troll’s tongue is one of the most dangerous attractions in Norway. If you look at the site itself, you will definitely understand why it is one of the most dangerous places. The stone is elevated almost 800 meters high and takes one about 10 hours to get to the top. In addition to that, there are no rails around the stone to protect observers from the top vantage point and this even makes it worse. It is said that there is an Australian woman who plunged to her death from the stone this year, although it is the first ever recorded death in the Trolltunga. Archaeological Discoveries Proving GIANTS exist

There have been other species of human on this earth, some smaller and some bigger, but what about a human 2, 3 or maybe even 4 times larger than the average person? Check out these discoveries of giant footprints and skeletons that may prove giants really do exist! China’s Giant Footprint In August of 2016, an amazing and unexplainable discovery was made in Guizhou, China. During a hike, photographers stumbled upon a series of marks in the ground that looked eerily similar to the prints made by a human walking barefoot. Nearly two feet long and indented nearly three centimeters into the ground, the massive prints likely belong to someone who is over thirteen feet tall, according to researchers’ estimates. Many dismiss the prints as a hoax, which is understandable except for the fact that this is not the first time such prints have been discovered. In 1912, a four foot long print was unearthed in South Africa that was dated to be over two hundred million years old, suggesting an ancient civilization of giants. This is backed up by countless tales from Norse, Indian, Mayan, Aztec, Incan, and Greek lore, as well as the Bible. Most amazingly, the 1912 discovery’s creator had to have been over twenty seven feet tall to leave such a print behind, making the mere thirteen feet of the Chinese discovery seem much more feasible by comparison. Phillips Excavation A news article from 1912 details the excavation of a burial mound completed by the Phillips brothers at Lake Declan in Wisconsin. According to the New York Times, on May 4, eighteen giant skeletons that were carefully buried in charcoal and baked clay were uncovered from a presumed burial mound. The bones were said to be, “monkey-like” in many ways, such as straight sloping eye sockets and a nasal placement higher than that of a human, but were obviously human bones. Many other alleged “giant” bones have been found in Wisconsin, with the New York Times also reporting skeletons found by a Smithsonian researcher in 1881 and one nine foot skeleton found in Maple Creek years later in 1897. Certainly such repeated results are at least some cause for interest and concern. Ecuadorian Giant Remains In 1964, several Ecuadorian locals called upon Father Carlos Vaca, a priest who worked with the local hospitals, after uncovering several strange bones in a mountainous area. After inspecting them, he determined they were likely human despite being incredibly large. The bones were taken to Austrian artifact researcher Klaus Dona, who allowed several experts to view the bones. They all came to the same conclusion: they likely belonged to a human who, based upon estimates, would have been over 25 feet tall. No DNA could be pulled from the bones during examination, leading the researchers to believe them to be over ten thousand years old, at the least. Dona also claims that the area where the bones were found has been called, “the cemetery of the giants” by those local to the area, though this has not been proven to be true. Found At Varna This particular discovery actually took place much more recently in Varna, Bulgaria. You see, Varna used to be the ancient Greek city of Odessos, which is known having a lot of mythology that talks about and has images of giants. So it came as almost no surprise in January of 2015 that an incredibly large human skeleton was discovered. The skeleton appeared to placed very delicately with its hands on its waist and it’s head facing specifically to the East. The only issue with this discovery is that no height has actually been publicly confirmed, giving suspicion to its legitamacy. Some people have speculated that the man may have simply been of above average height and was considered a spectacle when they were alive in Ancient Greece, but others believe this was a real giant that was spoken of as mythology. Lovelock Cave In 1911, two Nevada miners named David Hart and James Pugh took interest in the large deposits of bat feces, also known as guano, which they planned to sell for use in making gunpowder. During their digging, the two men uncovered some incredible archaeological finds and called upon Alfred Kroeber, the founder of the Anthropology Department at the University of California. Several normal sized mummies were uncovered, as well as a few who were, amazingly, over eight to ten feet tall. Some sandals were also found that measured in at around thirty eight centimeters long, along with many giant sized handprints embedded into the cave walls. Interestingly, the local Paiute Native American tribe spoke in lore of red haired, white skinned giants called Si-Te-Cha living in the Lovelock cave system where the mummies were discovered. 7 Animals You'll Be Glad Are Extinct

7 extinct animals you'll be glad are extinct! From prehistoric creatures to scary predators, these dinosaurs & beasts are nightmarish. Subscribe for new videos: http://goo.gl/SaufF4 Voiceover by Rodney Tompkins: https://www.youtube.com/c/BigBadada2012 7: The Dire Wolf During the Pleistocene, the dire wolf also known as Canis dirus inhabited different areas around North and South America. Although the average dire wolf was similar in size to the larger specimens of present day’s grey wolf, its vicious bite was the strongest of any Canis species to date. Their teeth were also larger and featured a greater shearing ability. It is also believed that they used their bite to crush the bones of their prey and eat the marrow in order to extract the maximum nutritional capacity out of each kill. Based on the numerous specimens recovered from the La Brea 6: The Smilodon The smilodon is one of the best known species of what is commonly known as the saber-toothed cat. Smilodons inhabited regions in the Americas during the Pleistocene era, around 1.6 million to 10.000 years ago. Thousands of smilodon fossil specimens were discovered in the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, US. Their most distinctive features were their canines which could grow as long as 12 inches for the Smilodon populator, the largest of the smilodon species. Their height was estimated 5: The Terror Bird The Phorusrhacidae also known as the terror birds were a type of large carnivorous flightless bird. It was the apex predator in the South American region, during the Cenozoic era. Terror birds ranged in height with the largest specimens standing almost 10 feet tall. They had large heads and powerful beaks but also great flexibility in their long necks. This enabled them to deliver devastating strikes on their prey. They would often use their height as a means of intimidation. Before delivering a downward attack 4: The Spinosaurus Similar to the T-Rex the Spinosaurus was also a theropod dinosaur meaning that it was a massive land carnivore. It lived during the Cretaceous period, approximately 112 to 97 million years ago, mainly in the swamps of North Africa. Its scientific name, which translates to ‘spine lizard’, reflects the dinosaur’s most distinctive feature. The Spinosaurus had tall neural spines growing on its back vertebrae which were connected to each other by skin to form what scientists have referred to as the ‘sail’. The sail’s function is still unclear. With its sail fully extended the Spinosaurus 3: The Titanoboa The titanoboa is the largest genus of snake ever discovered with an estimated weight of 2.500 pounds and a length of almost 50 feet. Upon its discovery it was believed that the titanoboa was an apex predator of the Palogene epoch inhabiting Earth’s tropical regions approximately 50-60 million years ago. However, later analysis indicated that the snake was mainly piscivorous, meaning that its diet consisted mostly of fish. When it would take on larger prey, the serpent would use its massive body to constrict its prey 2: The Tyrannosaurus Rex The name ‘Rex’ comes from Latin and translates as ‘king’. Considering the fact that the Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the largest predators that have ever lived, the name does it justice. The T-Rex was one of the few non-avian dinosaurs that were still roaming the Earth, prior to the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event (K-Pg). The leading theory behind the K-Pg event is that a large asteroid brought about the mass extinction of approximately three quarters of all the plant and animal life on Earth. The largest complete T-Rex specimen is located at the Field Museum of Natural History, in Chicago and measures 40 feet in length and stands at 12 feet tall. Based on the bone structure it is estimated 1: The Megalodon The megalodon was one of the most dangerous predators in the sea during the Pliocene and Miocene epochs, around 23 to 2.6 million years ago. Based on the size of the discovered teeth and vertebrae, it was determined that the megalodon’s physical appearance resembled that of today’s great white shark. However, the megalodon was much larger. Based on the fossil evidence and body mass analysis which was done in comparison with that of the great white it was estimated that the length of the megalodon ranged from 55 to 60 meters in length with a weight between 50 and 75 tons. Scientists have not excluded the possibility of certain specimens exceeding these parameters. A 2008 computer simulation determined that the 10.8 to 18.2 ton bite force that this shark could produce was stronger than that of any other animal

These 16 places are highly guarded and mysterious places are not easy to get to and visit like the dangerous radioactive Chernobyl.

7. The Colonel's LIttle Secret
Similar to the Coca Cola vault, Colonel Sanders really doesn’t want anyone else replicating his mighty fine, fingerlicking good recipe. He has a total of 11 herbs and spices he mixes in there and the recipe is stored in the an upgraded modern security facility at the headquarters in Kentucky. What are they putting in our chicken? According to rumor, even the President of KFC doesn’t know the recipe, so don’t try bribing the drive through to give it up.

6. Room 39
It’s not like anyone would willingly want to go to North Korea but if someone were to try to get into Room 39 it would be extremely difficult. At an undisclosed location, most likely in or near the capital of Pyongyang, lies a rumored headquarter that's in charge of North Korea's underground activities. They are mostly in charge of gathering foreign currency in whatever way possible. Whether it’s drugs, counterfeits arms deals the lists go on. If North Korea were to get a hold of a nuke, it would most likely have to come from foreign counterfeit.

5. Chernobyl
No one is legally able to visit the Chernobyl exclusion zone without permission from the Ukrainian government, which basically means it’s off limits. Some people are willing to take the risk to visit the abandoned city but it’s extremely risky especially for foreigners who don’t speak Russian well. The only way you’re getting in here is with a heavy bribe to the police if you’re stopped. In just a short period of time you might be able to get away with visiting the outskirts without too much bodily damage. The sludge that’s left here after the literal meltdown of the radioactive materials is known as the elephant's foot as you see in this photo is still extremely lethal. Just after 300 seconds of exposure gives you only 2 days to live. It’s actually still melting and could one day seep into the ground water. Good luck!

4. Ozyorsk, Russia
Sometimes entire cities can be completely off limits in Russia. Located in the Chelyabinsk Oblast Region, Ozyorsk is considered a closed town due to how close it is to the Mayak plant. However people do live here, you're just not invited to this one. The Mayak plant is a facility that processes nuclear waste and decommissions decaying weapons of mass destruction. It used to be a location where the Soviet Union would find its source of plutonium. The area is now polluted with industrial and radioactive waste.

3. Svalbard Global Seed Vault
If the world were to come to a tragic end or certain species of plants have become extinct, the svalbard seed vault has got their back! Located only 800 miles south of the North Pole in Norway lies a vault that has a set goal on preserving plant diversity and holding on to large amounts of seeds in the case of an emergency. More than 400,000 crop seeds are stored here and includes seeds for 32 varieties of potatoes. The Norwegian government spent 9 million dollars on this facility that one besides scientists can go to and maybe some day it’ll be useful.

2. The Demilitarized Zone
Also known as the 38th Parallel, the demilitarized zone was created at the end of the Korean War to keep the two countries at peace. It’s considered to be neutral territory that neither country is allowed to cross and at least a 10 mile wide buffer zone between the two. It’s most heavily militarized border in the worlds Near this zone, you’ll notice quite a few landmines, armed soldiers, watch towers. You can almost feel the tension about to burst. North Korea even built the 4 largest flagpole in the world in order to giver the southerners a view of communism. You’re really not allowed to visit this zone, and some how if you find away, you may bring on another world war.

1.Area 51 Nevada
No other place seems to be so secret yet well known at the same time. Also located within the isolated National Nevada Security Site, the government only recently admitted its existence. They claim to use the smooth, dry lake bed known as groom lake as a runway for experimenting with new aircraft. But do to the extreme restriction many wonder exactly what’s going on out there. Motion detectors and thermal body heat detectors are spread across desert and will detect anyone who thinks about coming close. Not to mention the constant surveillance of drones that relentlessly monitor the area for trespassers. Conspiracy theorist claim the government is holding extraterrestrial life forms or even their flying saucers at this location, but it’s restricted, i guess we’ll never find out exactly, will we?
