Unbelievable Places That Really Exist

From the unreal Yoro Park in Japan to the Bergpark Wilhelmshohe in Germany, here are Unbelievable Places That Really Exist. Learn about the BIGGEST of everything Monday, Wednesday, and Friday just subscribe! # 8 Yoro Park The town of Yoro located in the Gifu prefecture of Japan is relatively small and unremarkable with a population of just 33,000. However, many people are attracted to this place because of the Yoro Park Site of Reversible Destiny. It is a strange “theme park” that doesn’t have the roller coasters or rides that most theme parks offer. Instead, it boasts surreal landscaping, perfectly round domes covered in grass, and architecture that will make you scratch your head. It was originally designed to incorporate the 100 waterfalls in the area into a unified place. # 7 Beppu, Japan The Japanese island of Kyushu is home to many things, but is also known to be a very active hotbed of geothermal activity. Hot springs have bubbled up over the city of Beppu and are so hot they create huge steam clouds that rise above the rooftops, making it look like the entire city is on fire. These springs are colored a deep blue or deep orange but are too hot to bathe in, ranging in temperature from 50 to 99.5 degrees Celsius. This hot water is piped through the city to be used in homes, restaurants, and even in places where it is cooled down enough to help with physical therapy. # 6 Village of Monsanto Voted the most Portuguese village in Portugal and built to be intertwined with the landscape is the village of Monsanto. Looking at pictures might be shocking because it looks as if the village was crushed by a landslide. The village was built between, underneath, and around these boulders which have been there for as long as the village has. Monsanto was built in the 12th century and sits on top of a mountain, giving a spectacular view of the Italian countryside. # 5 Marble Caves of Chile Chico This stark rock shape is located in a peninsula bordering Lake General Carrera along the Chile-Argentina border. It’s one of the marble caves of Chile Chico, a giant outcropping of solid marble that has been slowly carved by water pushing up against it. The marble caves are very far removed from any established paved roads and require a 30 minute guided boat ride to get to. The parts that have been polished by the water reveal a beautiful pearly, swirling pattern hidden inside the rock. # 4 The Natural Bridge Most bridges are man-made marvels, but this one was made completely by Mother Nature. It was carved by Cedar Creek which flowed through it over the course of thousands of years. It’s a 65 meter high bridge that is sacred to the Monacan tribe and was later surveyed by American colonists. One of these colonists was George Washington who allegedly carved his initials into the rock. # 3 The Blue Forest The Hallerbos, or Blue Forest, is a dream-like forest in Belgium. Most times of the year it’s beautiful, but unremarkable as far as forests go. However, every spring, the forest takes on a whole new quality that makes it seem straight out of a dream. The forest floor blooms with blue bell flowers, completely saturating the place with the densest meadow of bluebells in all of Europe. # 2 Atlantic Ocean Road We’ve all heard of taking the “scenic route”, but the Atlantic Ocean Road takes that to the next level. This winding road curves over and around the brutal Norwegian Sea. The road connects several tiny islands together to unify the country, and to do this it crosses the beautiful scenery of the Norwegian coasts. Despite several arched bridges and elevated roads, the water will still occasionally crash over the road during storms. If you are lucky and brave enough to cross this road, you will be rewarded with some of the most breathtaking views in the world. # 1 Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe This image has been circulating on the internet for at least four years now and is frequently captioned as being somewhere near Poland or Germany. While this actual image is just a photo mockup, there is a similar waterfall castle that actually exists in Kassel Germany. The Bergpark Wilhelmshohe is an old water park that was first built in 1696. It’s equipped to handle 92,000 gallons that flow through the three-century-old pneumatic devices. The water most notable flows down a 350-meter long cascade/slide that makes it look like a castle sitting directly on top of a water park. You can still visit the Bergpark Wilhelmshohe despite its age as it was designated a UNESCO world heritage spot in 2013.

Volcán, Panama Volcán in Panama, also called the Shangri-La Valley, is one of the healthiest and most beautiful places in the world. It’s a popular location for people searching for a low cost of living and stunning scenery, but there’s more to this place than the mountains. Something about Volcán means that residents tend to live for far longer than you would expect based on the life expectancy of the rest of the country, with people often living well into their 80’s or 90’s. This is likely due to the lifestyle you can enjoy here. Volcán is in the Chiriquí province, which is also known as Panama’s breadbasket, and provides about 80% of Panama’s produce. Farms of all sizes grow pretty much anything you could ever want. With constant spring-like temperatures, thermal springs, and fresh food that includes seafood, eggs and fruits; people that live here exist in a bubble of serenity and health. This is, of course, helped by the surrounding landscape, national parks and a wide variety of wildlife that makes it one of the best bird-watching locations in the whole of Panama. 9. Sardinia, Italy The island of Sardinia is one of the first places in the world to be identified as a blue zone, a place that holds the world’s longest living people. It’s actually the place that has the highest concentration of male centenarians, with nearly ten times as many per capita than there are in the United States. The reason why the people here live so long is a combination of their genetic traits along with their lifestyle, and it’s a great place to live. Not just if you want to live longer but because of their quality of life. They tend to keep things simple and have low stress! Life shouldn’t be so complicated! Islanders still hunt, fish and harvest all of the food that they eat, with a diet based around whole grain bread, beans, lots of vegetables and fruits, goat’s milk and cheese. They only tend eat meat on special occasions. The island is also a wonderful place to walk around and explore, and with their close community involvement and love for wine, you could do worse than to make this place your home. 8. Costa Rica With cloud forests at five thousand feet, to glorious white sandy beaches, Costa Rica has everything you could want from a place to live. Add to this the bustling cities full of entertainment and culture, reliable infrastructure, and good health care, it’s no wonder that it’s a popular destination for expats and people looking to relocate looking for a better quality of life. The happy planet index, which measures human well-being and environmental impact, ranks Costa Rica as one of the best places in the world to live. This is the result of a unique way of life in the country. For example, since 1949 their constitution has forbidden them from having an army, and it’s the location of the United Nations University for Peace. There’s also an impressive life expectancy, and a literacy rate of 97.8 per cent. Everything is relatively cheap here too, although housing has gone up since it is popular with expats, and there’s no end of wondrous sights. Despite taking up 0.03 per cent of the planet, over 5% of the world’s biodiversity can be found here in the numerous protected forests and reserves that are full of hummingbirds, sloths and plenty more. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

Top 25 prettiest natural places on Earth

***before you write comment to complain or to correct, read below first*** Edit Aug 11, 2013: Frequently Asked Questions: Q) DId you know Colombia was mispelled, gringo tonto?!! A) I realised that, pardon. Q) If you were to redo you list, are there any places you would have added. A) Palawan in Phillipines, The Faroe Islands, Zhangye Danxia in China (google this). I knew about these places, but realized over time that they should be ranked higher. Q) You realize you left out Machu Picchu? A) Over-rated! Over-rated! just kidding, it's not made by Mother Nature. Q) Why isnt Greece/Nepal in your video. Me and my countrymen will harass you untill you add our beloved countries. A) I noticed there are a lot of people from these two countries patrolling youtube and flaming any videos that left out their country. Greece and Nepal are beautiful countries with rich history. Places like Meteora/Santorini or Taktsang/Bhaktapur are breathtaking. However, these places are man made and do not belong in my video! However, I generously have Greek Coast at #37 and Southern Himalayas at #48. I have respect for your countries, so please don't harass me. Q). You seemed to be biased toward China! *points fingers at me* A). On one hand, if I were to redo the list, I probably would have left off Huangshan. On the other hand, despite what's in the video, I have left out more worthwhile places in China than any other country. Just google "China Danxia" (6 unique areas of scenery throughout China group together as one unesco heritage site), "yunnan Province Scenery/stone forest", Guizhou Province, "longhu mountain", etc etc,. Q) What is song #12 and #15 A) Run by Snow Patrol and Resistance by Muse Q) Can we have a list of all the songs? A) No I'm too lazy. But 10 of the 25 songs are by the Cure, greatest band in History. Q) Where is Angel Falls, Bora Bora, Grand Canyon, Milford Sound, Halong Bay? A) They are covered in the video under other names, look again... Q) Where is Serengeti, Galapagos, Redwoods, Sequoia, Socotra?!? A) This videos looks at natural art with a geological canvas. Plants and animals will not be a main factor. Q) Palau is not in Indonesia, you moron! A) I didnt say it is. #18 is the island landscape that covers parts Palau and parts of Indonesia. Q) It seems like that you group different countries or national parks together. A) This is a video of Nature's work. It's humans that drew a line between USA/Canada or Brazil/Argentina. It's humans that defined Grand Canyon vs Zion National Park and Yellowstone vs Grand Teton. I tried to group and name the places from natural or geological perspective. ------------------------ Original Description ------------------------ Mother Nature is the greatest artist. Here are her top 25 greatest works of art. I've spend over 100hours in researching and creating this.. I tried my best to be unbias but I think the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed it.
