The first Monkey Abroad travel vlog takes place in Guilin. We took a trip here to film a documentary promoting travel in Guilin, and this video highlights our free time in between shots and some other nonsense! Come along and join us on this adventure. I hope you enjoy. This is the most significant festival of the year for the Yao People, an ethnic minority group that lives a self-sustaining lifestyle in the mountains here. We were fortunate enough to experience the daily life, customs, and traditions of these people during our stay. My friend Adan joins us for his first appearance in a Monkey Abroad production. He is not only an amazing dancer and performer, but he made the music for this video (https://soundcloud.com/laowaimusic) Also, be sure to check out Adan's YouTube page: (https://www.youtube.com/c/TheUdonPot) You already know Raven from the Nanjing and Wuxi videos (Traveling for 20 Dollars a Day). She's becoming a staple in the Monkey Abroad videoz. The only person we were missing this time was Curtis! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sick BEATS provided courtesy of Adan AKA Lao Wai 老外 https://soundcloud.com/laowaimusic Follow me on all my adventures: Blog - http://monkeyabroad.com Facebook - http://facebook.com/monkeyabroad Instagram - http://instagram.com/monkeyabroad Support me! The horrid behavior of a group of Chinese tourists resulted in their fellow nationals being banned from Wat Rong Khun, or the white temple, in Chiang Rai, Thailand. While the ban was lifted later on, the incident has resulted in renewed calls from within China for tourists who travel overseas to behave appropriately and not damage the country’s image. Please support this channel by not skipping the ads. Thank you! :) It is interesting to see how much Chinese influence in Indonesia through local food. Today, I am taking you along with me touring Glodok, or Chinatown in Jakarta and trying some local street food that has Chinese influence in it. I didn't manage to cover a lot of food since we arrived in the afternoon and a lot of street food vendors are closed. Nonetheless, I hope this video is entertaining enough yet educational for you. -PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/syifaadriana -PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.me/asyifaadriana -INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/syifaadriana -EMAIL: email@example.com -FREE $40 AIR-BNB CREDIT: https://www.airbnb.com.sg/c/aadriana6 -BOOK ACCOMMODATION: https://www.booking.com/s/56_6/syifaa63 -HOW I ACCESS YOUTUBE IN CHINA: http://www.linkev.com/?a_fid=syifaadriana // ABOUT ME -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi there! I am Anissa Syifa Adriana, otherwise known as Syifa. I am a conversation connoisseur, Indonesian female solo traveler and make-up enthusiast. I started my first solo traveling in June 2014, a coincidence trip, where it was intended for someone I was very close to in the past. I never regret deciding to go because after that, I never look back. I decided to leave Indonesia since August 2016, to do a long-term traveling. After being on the road for about 5 months, in January 2017 I was offered to teach English in Yinchuan, Northwest China. Instead of going back home, at that time I went straight to China from Vietnam carrying only the remaining USD 300 that I had in my bank account. Arrived in China for the first time, everything felt so intimidating and foreign at the same time. Since then, I was based in Yinchuan, Northwest China and had been loving it. As of now, I am back on the road again to travel and make videos on Youtube. Thank you again for watching! I hope you get to enjoy the video as much as I am making it. Let's keep it positive. Don't forget to like, share, comment and subscribe :)
Hello beautiful friends! Can you believe that today's vlog is the last episode of my China travel series?! Despite falling sick during our final days, I am so grateful that I still got to explore a little bit of beautiful Chengdu, which I really enjoyed (as you can probably tell!) wholeheartedly. The Wide and Narrow Alleys (KuanZhai XianZi) is definitely a must visit if you ever visit Sichuan; there is so much fun to be found inside, as well as ancient Chinese culture blended with the new. Mum and I have arrived safely back home in Melbourne now, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who joined us on this amazing journey which I learned incredibly much from. It feels like we travelled for a month because of how many places we visited, and I am so thankful for every single moment, especially being able to spend it with my mother. I hope that I could inspire some of you to travel to China too one day if you have the opportunity, and again, thank you for your heartwarming support!
